The original sails were two-ply Dracon sails from Hood that were completely stiffened by sun, wind and water. We threw these away and had new ones made.
The Genoa, Kotter Jib, Main Sail, Storm Jib and Storm mainsail are made from Flex Ultra H Dyneema by Chapman High Performance Sails in Sydney. Link to Andrew Chapman
The still usable sails we found on board were a Code zero and a Genoa.
The mast is equipped with two spinnaker poles that can be stored on the mast. These are extremely suitable for sailing with the two foresails extended before the wind. The milkmaid. However, the expectation is that we will sail half or broad wind for most of the trip.
We had the lazy jack system with the boom bag completely renewed by Maclean Patton from Balmain Trimming (Insta). He also made the bimini and dodger, replaced the upholstery of all benches and seats and renewed the large 2-person mattress. Good job!
