Daily Report #29

Hello on salty tuesday.

Today we sail on the Indian Ocean. So far nothing has broken, but I have already prepared myself. Looking for bolts and nuts in case the tiller, which is made of wood and currently seems to be able to replace the weakest link for two stainless steel tubes that are currently still part of the support for the post on the stern. Other than that, just a little tinkering. And made lunch. A kind of English breakfast with baked beans, eggs and Chinese sausages. A true treat.

Calculated that we still need 12 to 14 days to arrive in Reunion. Tomorrow is just another day less. At the moment we are sailing almost before the wind again. So we rock and screech again that it's a sweet lust. Mark is baking bread. He goes crazy in the kitchen with all the noise and the fact that you can't leave anything loose or it will fly through the cabin. I'm typing while pushing myself into the chair with my legs.. nothing relaxing.

This morning we put the Navionics chart for South Africa and surroundings in the plotter. I don't have a subscription says that silly thing. Picked up from Dekker just before departure. At home all activated on my account and then the plotter says; 'Plotter says no'! No valid subscription available. What a typhoid mess.
I'm so tired of that. Can we solve in Reunion but despite all the preparations..
